Call to Participations

Hello! To make this podcast work, we need you&! No matter where you place yourself on the plural map, your experiences are welcome and precious. Please share them with us! The following text describes how to participate

For the audiophiles, we prepared a short introduction and call for participation:

What do you need?

All you really need is a microphone, a discord account and some time to talk. Idealy, the audio quality of the microphone is decent enough for you to listen to it, but we can do some audio magic during the edits. If you are not sure what to talk about, browse our topic list or talk with us on discord. If you found something that you think it is interesting to share, we think so too!

Rules for Participations

If you want to participate, get in touch with us! Best chances to find us is on Discord . Alternativley, write us an eMail .

you can share your submission in different ways.

1. you& record your own submission.
2. you& have a recorded conversation with one of the HAY&? hosts.
3. you& can have a groupthink with some of the hosts and we’ll record that.
4. you can send in your share in text and someone can read&record it.

No recordings are final

Everyone and Anysome who participated or was included in the recorded conversation has the Right to Retract their Consent. Upon request we will permanently delete the audiofile, no questions asked.

things we would like to determine/verify with you& before recording :

• anonymity or named/alias
• pronouns (individual & collective)
• preferred terms regarding plurality
• no-no’s; terms/topics to avoid
• selfcare breaks or desired check-ins during the conversation
• would you& require multiple recordings to make sure all brainmates who want, can participate.

So. if you see one or more topix that you would like to share about. here’s what to do: Say Hi/start a conversation in the ‘I’m interested’ channel of the HAY&? server.. and one of the hosts will pick up the suggestion and you can together determine whether you would like to record a conversation together.

Practicals

Sent in recordings in one of these audio formats: mp3 / ogg / flac / wav / m4a.

Recordings will be kept offline for at least three weeks. should you need more time to give everysome time to decide if they’re consenting to publishing… this can ofcourse be accomodated. If recording with anysome of the hosts have a DM with them about practicals like which timezone you live in, so we can “plan” conversation/recording (that works within everysomes abilities..), This way we keep the ‘I’m interested’ channel focused on content.
